Luftwaffe "unfit for service" wehrpass and discharge paper

Bought this awhile back on the E stand, and just now getting around to researching it.

I know he was a Luftwaffe Flieger (even though all the active service entries are in the Heer section for some reason?)
I know he was deemed "dienstunfahig"-unfit for service,on May 5,1939,but I just cannot figure out exactly why he was discharged.

There is another entry on August 29,1941..nothing in between, and nothing after.

The only code I can figure out by using the wound codes for Soldbuch's (are they different codes than Wehrpass'??) is possibly "Genital problems"?

Can anyone help me in figuring out why he was discharged? Im at a loss, and it's making me crazy!

Based on these 3 pages you show us I cannot give you the reason why he was discharged and

unfit for service. There is given no reason. The entry on 29 Aug 1941 gives only the information

that he was discharged, no reason.

May be you show us more pages.

Doesn't the word "wegen" mean "because"?
And "dienstunfahig" mean "unfit for duty"?

The reason for his 'Unfit for service' will most probably be in his Gesundheitsbuch (G-Buch), and possibly in his Wehrstammbuch, which if you only have his Wehrpass will mean that it will remain unknown if there are no detailed entries and the G-Buch & Wehrstammbuch remain seperated.

            "Art der Entlassung: wg. D.(ienst) U.(nfähigkeit) nach W.(ehr) G.(esetz) § 24 (2) a"

This entry gives only the explanation that the reason (wegen) of his discharge was

"DienstUnfähigkeit" disability. It does not give any facts why he was discharged.

I had a look in the Wehrgesetz § 24 (2) a and found this text:

"2) Soldaten können aus dem aktiven Wehrdienst entlassen werden
              a) wegen Dienstunfähigkeit, wenn sie die zum aktiven Wehrdienst erforderlichen körperlichen
oder geistigen Kräfte nach dem Gutachten eines Sanitätsoffiziers oder eines von der
Wehrmacht beauftragten Arztes nicht mehr besitzen.."

But this givs only general reasons to discharge a soldier ...if he does not have the physical and mental potential..based on a medical certificate...

                Ahh..I understand now..

Not knowing the language, handwriting style, and abbreviations sure makes it hard to figure these things out.
I thank everyone very much for the help.
Unfortunately,I will probably never know the reason,as these are the only documents I have for him.
                Thanks very much again
