Cover for "Truppen - Ausweis" what could it be ?

Hi all,

just got this cover and wondered what kind of military ID was in there ? Measurements are in the last pics, Its much smaller then a Soldbuch or Wehrpass and there is a slit in the side to put it in and out.
Any ideas ???
