                Hi Igor,

                Fine Uboat Wehrpaß you show us here on WAF.

                Absolutely nothing wrong with it.
                The two mentioned sites do show two errors, his birthdate and his rank.
                While the sites do show him as a Matrose, it is clear from the entries in the man's Wehrpaß that his final rank was Maschinenmaaten.

                Your man served first on Artillerieschulboot "Drache" an old iron lady serving from 26.10.1908 till her sinking on 18.4.1945.

                Clausen made all four war patrols on U-610.
                Received his UBootskriegsabzeichen three days after U-160's second war patrol and his EK.2 four days after her third war patrol.

                U-610 was a successful boat, sinking four ships and damaging one.

                As most of his Uboat comrades he died in battle.
