    It's definitely 24th of sept 1944!

I'm posting the particular page here, maybe somebody is tired to click through the links

If tag nr is 2961 (like Soldbuch) it is a number impossible for a tag issued in september 1944 !

I got a dog tag from the 11. Battery of this unit - as it was shown here - and the number of the tag is 6027! But it is also possible, that simply the dog tag number is missing from tha SB, and the 2961 is not the number of his dog tag.

After a check in my archiv, I m sure than the Erk. Nr missing cant be the same than Soldbuch's number (definitly higher).

            Thank you christof!
I also think that. A friend of mine showed me some SS Solbücher form late 1944, and all of these Hungarian SS Solbücher and their first pages were full empty. There were just the names of the soldiers but no Erkennungsmarke number or bloodtype. By the way thank you once again for your help!

Gabor, no dogtag entry for Hungarian SS Solbücher is normal ! On your Soldbuch, it is not normal but possible. On some Soldbuch from same unit, I found a difference about 1500 numbers between Soldbuch Nr (highter) and dog tag (lower). The number of your tag (if same for the Soldbuch) is impossible for september 1944, but with around 1500/2000 number more OK for this date.
