Wehrpaß: Forcible disarmament of the Danish Army

I have had this Wehrpaß for some time and to be honest bought it for the cover it came with, however I never seen this entry before:

Gewaltsam Entwaffnung der Dänischen Armee 29/30.8.1943 - Forcible disarmament of the Danish Army 29/30.8.1943

Of course this date is when Denmark was finally taken, although it had been occupied since 9.4.1940.

Have never seen that entry before. I always thought the Danish Army was done after the initial 1940 invasion.

      ..

      Agreed, interesting entry.

We're any former Danish units rearmed after the 1940 occupation for security duties? Obviously some Danes fought for the Germans.

Answered my own question, I did read that Danish military units were not completely dissolved until Aug. 1943.

      Again nice entry.
