Father in laws soldbuch and photos 19th panzer div, questions

Hello everyone this is the first time I have posted on this forum in years, I haven't had time to, my collection has been in boxes for probably over five years now awaiting the final renovation of my house.

We just recently acquired my wife's opa,s soldbuch and photos as he passed away in June, I'm putting together a shadow box for her and was hopeing for help in transcribing all the medals he was awarded so I can do it properly.

Here's a look at the awards page,a swell as some photos of Fred Gerbes
If anyone has anymore interest in more photos or the rest of the book, I would be happy to post it for you.

Thanks in advance and I hope to one day return to this site, and share my collection once again

    Thanks

    Dan

    Guess i can't post pictures?

Is it because of my account setting or because I'm on an ipad?

The awards listed on page 22 are:

                - Kriegsverdienstkreuz II. Klasse (K.V.K. II) mit Schwertern (War Merit Cross IInd Class with Swords)

                - Allgemeines Sturmabzeichen (General Assault Badge)

                - E.K. II Kl., or Eisernes Kreuz II. Klasse (Iron Cross IInd Class)

Can we see photos of the photo in the Soldbuch, page 21 (there will be more awards listed there), and pages 4 and 17?

                Barry

He also received the ostmedal, EK 1, and Wound badge (black).

                    Nice book, quite a soldier.

                    Hank

Edit: I see by his photo he's also wearing the KVK 1st class.

Unless it was nighttime, or the weather was bad, and you were running out of gas - then it was a sweaty nightmare, like a monkey f*ing a skunk.

                      Thanks Barry

Here you go, yes there should be more awards listed somewhere as I know he was awarded more, which you can tell by his photos.

Page 21 shows that he was also awarded these medais:

                            - Ostmedaille (Eastern [Front] Medal)

                            - Verwundetenabzeichen in Schwarz (Wound Badge in Black)

                            - E.K. I. Kl., or Eisernes Kreuz I. Klasse (Iron Cross Ist Class)

If I am reading the Feldpost number correctly on page 22, FPN 13949, it appears he was a long serving member of the 3. Kompanie (3rd Company) of Panzerabwehr-Abteilung 19 (Anti-tank Batallion 19) and the 3. Kompanie of Panzerjäger-Abteilung 19.

                            13949

                            (Mobilmachung-1.1.1940) 3. Kompanie Panzerabwehr-Abteilung 19.

                            (15.7.1942-24.1.1943) 3. Kompanie Panzerjäger-Abteilung 19.

In one photo, he is also wearing the Kriegsverdienstkreuz I. Klasse (K.V.K. I Kl.) mit Schwertern (War Merit Cross Ist Class with Swords), so that entry probably appears in the Soldbuch as well.

I don't see a silver wound badge in there, but he said he was awarded one, he was shot in the head near the end of the war.
