and Wilhelm has not recovered from his wound: he died in November 1945 in Poland and is buried in Laurahütte / Siemianowice

                      Wilhelm Faust

Wilhelm Faust ist vermutlich als unbekannter Soldat auf die Kriegsgräberstätte Laurahütte / Siemianowice überführt worden.

                      Grablage: wahrscheinlich unter den Unbekannten

                      Nachname: Faust
                      Vorname: Wilhelm
                      Dienstgrad: Obergefreiter
                      Geburtsdatum: 25.02.1924
                      Geburtsort: Wattenscheid
                      Todes-/Vermisstendatum: 24.11.1945
                      Todes-/Vermisstenort: Zabrze, St.Joseph-Hospital

The unit history lists the commander at this time as Major Baron von der Brüggen. The final letters in the signature look like a "gg", so it might be him.

By the way, really nice Soldbuch and research. You've bought this book to life.
