Hi Miraul,

One can never really tell for sure in what unit a soldier served- his Erkennungsmarke only gives a possible unit, and for Infanterie-Ersatz-Bataillone that is the Infanterie-Regiment of the same number; in this case you would simply look up Infanterie-Regiment 467:

You're welcome, I'm happy to help.

As for why the belt buckle and disc were in the same place, well there are a thousand possible reasons for that. It certainly doesn't make sense that the Luftwaffe buckle belonged to the same soldier as the disc though. Perhaps two soldiers met up there and threw away whatever identifying materials they had; perhaps it is just a coincidence and the two items were discarded at different times... who knows?

propably its from the same soldier , because buckle were next to soldier with this tag(we have found him in trenches in last weekend-volksbund and dienstelle are informed)he have also gold ring with inscription 9.4.39 E.H.
its strange- wh tag and lw buckle.
