Strange SS round ID tag

Hi guys,

Here is strange ID tag.
It's ground dug, from Narva area (Estonia).

Is it personal or from some equipment?

Completely similar with other numbers was found in Estonia about 200 miles away from Narva.

Any suggessions?

Never seen before.
Must be fieldmade.
Tag for a key but why stamp the year ?

The SS is just 2 inversed 7´s Are you sure its ground dug ? The digits look very modern and make no real sense.

I am 100% sure, that it's not a fake.

Second tag has a year 1936 on it with the same font style and "SS" made from two 77.

It may be ground dug....but someone PLANTED it there 6 months prior!.... this is as "hokey" (fake!) as they come. Why would the Germans use "a 7 die" to make the runes.... that's ridiculous....and it's VERY OBVIOUS that's what was used!!!!! Never in a million years!

I'm sure you believe it....but there's absolutely NO PRESIDENCE for a SS ID or key tag like this and the "7 die" kills even the slightest chance it's real!

You can believe it if you want....but I, for one....don't.

My friend's dog has a fake EK 2 cross on it's neck, when the dog lost it somewhere in the Narva forest a couple of years ago. Your tag is absolutely sure fantasy ( the digits are typical Soviet era tools markings) Some kind a diggers made tag for his keys or something else, and lost it when he was in the forest.

It's a little too bizarre to be a laundry tag for an SS unit. Even though it has been found on the battlefield this has the look of a fantasy item I'm afraid.
