Does anyone know what these wound codes mean? thanks inadvance! Brian

For the first entry I found this:

I. is the group that 12 fell under for "Ansteckende Krankheiten" - Infectious diseases in the table pre war. In this group there were 41 diseases!

In the war time table it refers to "Krankheitsgruppe des Verzeichnisses für die Zeit von 1935-1939" -Illness group of the directory for the period between 1935-1939.
Prewar there were 195 illness codes that fell into 18 groups. For war time these were condensed to 36 illnesses.....however Kriegsmarine used the old codes for some reason.

As Gerdan pointed out, this is from the war time table 12 - Other infectious diseases (septicemia, inflammation, gas oedema and tetanus wounds are under K. Nw. Nr. 31 or 34".

1935-1939 table this was simply 12 - Smallpox.
