    Today i found a really nice EKM relic. wich belonged to one of the 1500 Indian soldiers stationed in Zandvoort (Holland)

    - not saying its real or a fake example [hope its authentic for you] .. But that has got to be one of the easiest tags to fake I've ever seen......

      I aint scared it's a fake, found it myself, but i agree it is a very simplistic stamped EKM.




      Some more information about the Legion in Zandvoort.

      Zandvoort (Holland)

      May 1943 / September 1943

      Infantry Regiment 950 (Ind)

      I. Bataillon – infantry companies 1 to 4.

      Approx 1500 soldiers strong.

      I. Battalion was reassigned to Zandvoort in May 1943 where they stayed until relieved by Georgian troops in August. In September 1943,
      the battalion was deployed on the Atlantic coast of Bordeaux on the Bay of Biscay.

                      That is an extremely interesting tag you have found!
                      I was lucky to find some foreign volunteer tags a few years ago near my home, and one will now be on the cover of my book:
