    Hello I've Just Picked Up A Werhpass To A Mountain Trooper.
    Please Can Anybody Please Tell Me What It Says On The Weapons Page.

            In what unit did he belong to? Do you have any more shots of the Wehrpass?

                Looks like he served with III/Infanterie Regiment 62, 7 Infanterie Division. 11.11.1940 III/I.R. 62 became I/Inf.Rgt. 207, 97 lei.Inf.Div. (renamed Jäger Rgt. 207, 97 Jäger Division on 6.7.1942).

                Looks like he was wounded or no longer fit to serve as a front line solider and conalesced with Geb.Jäg.Ers.Abt. 100....probably retrained as a driver as this had a lower fitness requirement....

                          hi holmzey i was just looking at my wehrpass lot and found i have a pte in the mountain troops.he served july 40 geb jag feld-ersbtl.54 of the 1geb.div.then active in france[loire]he then served.with geb jag btl98 same divon swiss border.then the div was transfered to arras prepairing.for the canceled invasion of england cheers doug
