    Hello

    This regiment fought nowhere.


    Here are some infos in german:

    Infanterie-Regiment 643

    Aufgestellt am 10. März 1940 als Regiment der 9. Welle als Landesschützen-Regiment für den Oberost bei Tschenstochau aus Landesschützen-Einheiten und der 351. Infanterie-Division unterstellt. Am 21. August 1940 wurde das Regiment wieder aufgelöst. Das I., III. und IV. Bataillon bilete Heimatwachbataillone, das II. Bataillon wurde Wach-Bataillon 721.

      Hi Enzo. Do not forget that you Guy was "eingestellt" in the Unit which Fronti gave you more Details. This Unit was never in Combat, but your Guy was probably transferred to another Unit and saw perhaps Combat with it. The only Way is to get the Identity from this Guy by writing to the WASt in Berlin, you have to be very patient and Lucky, not sure you get the Informations.... In then, making further Resarches..... Well, a though Job with perharps none Results !! Good Luck nevertheless. Lionel.
