    You can find this exact stamp in any gift shop in Warsaw or Kiev...They have been around for years but a large influx came about when the Soviet Union broke up..
    And,, although there were metal stamps many were in fact rubber.

    We're all so certain about the handle, face, etc. because between all of us on this topic have in total probably seen 1000 of these out there!

      Re-reading it, I see you aren't saying it's original or not original. It seems now - upon closer reading - you've posted a statement, then followed it up with large pictures of a stamp we're asserting is fake, but has no seeming connection to your original text.

      Or you're saying despite the drastic lack of any evidence proving it was ever used in the period the Totenkopf was in existence, it might conceivably be original.

      Despite it's similarity to other fakes produced (apparently) in former Eastern Bloc countries.

      Okay, my apologies - I am completely confused...

      Here's another thread with a fake document using this stamp. (See post 2). And as stated before, it's use on 2 fake documents posted on WAF is in no way proof that it's fake; it's only evidence that it's been used on fake documents.

      With exception to one responder to this, we've reached a conclusion about the authenticity of this 'stamper'.
