This grouping really is something special in my eyes. Rudolf Erber might not have first in the first line as a Oberzahlmeister but he certainly made it through a lot of different units and theaters of WW2.
He served with "Gebirgsjäger-Regiment 99", "Feldzeugbataillon 11", "Kraftf.Ers.Abt.7", "Schlächterei-Kompanie 185", "Wachbatalillon 551" (Kommandant des rückwärtigen Armeegebiets 580) etc.... and ended up with "Veterinär-Staffal Potsdam" near Berin in April 1945! I can hardly remember seeing any Wehrpaß with so many different units.
He was part of "Unternehmen Hannover". See the entry "Vernichtung der Feingruppe Below im rückwärtigen Gebiet" (May - June 1942). Another note says "Bandenbekämpfung im Operationsgebiet im Bereich der Heeresgruppe Mitte" (June 1942 - April 1943).
Also, a very rare KVK 2nd Class certificate!
