I wonder if this is the same Helmuth Neidhardt buried in the Andilly German War Cemetery? His birth date is ten days off, but it could be an error on the Volksbund site. The Helmuth Neidhardt who owned your soldbuch served in the same area as this man. He was also awarded the gold wound badge shortly before this one died. Perhaps, it is all a coincidence, but these guys already have a lot in common if you ask me.
