    Elite Panzer unit

Find here some pages from the Soldbuch of Unteroffizier Albrecht Bürckle he could be one of the thousand youngs that served in the Panzerwaffe, but he was one of the few who served in an elite unit formed at the end of the war, look at his last field unit on page 4. I show here the first one, the 4 and finally his award page. also I want to recall for any info about the actions in which this unit fought and his equipment.

    Thanks and enjoy.

Looking for DKiG Heer winner Soldbuch who also won the TDB and/or CCC, specially in Silver.

Page 4, note how this unit as part of Panzerkorps GD had as replacement unit a GD one.

Award page, he received the Panzerkampfabzeichen in silber and the EK II, interesting is that the unit awarding the medal was the 19 Pz.Div. and not the 23 Pz.Div. perhaps he was temporary destinated in it or participate in an operation subordinated to it, this is a thing I have seen, awarding units different to the current one and then letters sent to notificate the award.

He also has 18 combat days counted from April 4th 1.943 till February 21st 1.944, I wonder if he will receive a numberer badge if his company clerk will have time to count all combat days, this is something I frequently found in Soldbuch, soldier with 10 days, but who had ought almost for a year or a year and a half after his last combat day notated, incluiding a CCC in silver holder and a CC in bronze who has no days from the year 1.944 and 1.945.
