    Wehrpass - Leutnant Henry Harling

Here is my most recent acquisition. It includes his Wehrpass, EKI document, Portrait and field photo. There is an entry on page 34 (not shown here) "11.12.43 Gefallen in Radomyshl" so it didn't end well for him.

    Sudetenmedal
    4 years service medal,
    Eastmedal
    EK2
    EK1
    PAB bronze
    Woundbadge black and
    CCC silver

Adam, the MG42 and "Schmeisser" training entries on page 20, the officer training entry on page 21, the bottom two award entries on page 21, the Leutnant promotion on page 22 (possibly also the Oberfeldwebel promotion), and the CCC and Ostmedaille entries on page 23 are fake and added recently, I am sorry. This is a nice book that has been ruined by fake entries. I hope you can return it.

I agree with everything Chris has pointed out. Also looks like some writing was erased on page 22 to make way for the Leutnant promotion.

Damned shame too because it would have been just as appealing without being all humped up.

I got it on estand so I don't expect any problems with returning it. Thank you again for the help and the education.

This should have been picked up before being sold then, or did it have a description with doctored entries?

It is a shame as it is or was at least a nice book!

                  /Ian

I missed this one on estand. I usually check out all the paper items.
