Interesting pass to the 13 SS Baubrigade http://de.wikipedia.org/wiki/SS-Baubrigade, the 13th SS Eisenbahnbaubrigade served from 18th
    Januar 1945-
Spring 1945 January based at Reichertshofen then Limburg under the command of Dachau, subject to the Sachsenhausen concentration camp.

"From February to end of March 1945 was the 13th Aumenau
SS-Eisenbahn-Baubrigade, die dem KZ Sachsenhausen angehörte, stationiert.
SS Railway Construction Brigade, which belonged to the Sachsenhausen concentration camp stationed.
Hierbei handelte es sich um ein "Rollendes KZ".
    It was a "Rolling KZ".
Die Häftlinge mussten Reparaturarbeiten an Gleisen und Einrichtungen der Bahn durchführen, die durch Bombenangriffe zerstört worden waren.
The prisoners had to repair work on the railway tracks and facilities to perform, which had been destroyed by bombing.
    Am 26.
    On 26
März wurde die SS-Baubrigade evakuiert und in der Nähe von Wetzlar von alliierten Truppen befreit.
March was evacuated, the SS Construction Brigade and freed near Wetzlar by Allied troops".

In Volume 1 Part B of the USHMM study Encyclopedia Of Camps & Ghettos 1933-45 there is one & a half pages covering the details of SS-Eisenbaubrigade XIII, including the indiscriminate killing of prisoners. It consisted of over 100 Soviet prisoners as well as large groups of Germans, French, Poles, Italians, Belgians, Yugoslavians and Czechs. It is thought that at least 15 Belgian prisoners were killed while with the unit but due to lack of sources it is not possible to determine exact numbers of those killed.

(Source: as mentioned above - Page 1417-1418).
