    Signature and Feldpost Help

    Hi

I am not sure of the signature on this page.

My feldpost list has SS GJ Rgt 2 21SS Division but that regiment was assigned to the 13SS Division.

The soldbuch has alot of water stains and is missing the unit page and awards page. It is a 1943 issued Kriegsmarine soldbuch.

    Any ideas would be helpful.

Not sure what you are trying to say about the FP Nr. here......or are just curious as to why there is an SS FP Nr. in a KM Soldbuch?

The entry is for Wehrsold and corresponds with the rank in pay group 16....Matrose, so your guy appears to have not been promoted? Any other clues?

      FP Nr. 22466 E:

      14.7.1944 12 Kompanie, Gebirgsjäger-Regiment 2 (21. SS-Division)
      8.9.1944 12 Kompanie, Waffen-Gebirgsjäger-Regiment 2 (21. SS-Division)

As for the signature.....looks like SS Uscha. - Unterscharführer so will be difficult to trace who he is....

Thanks, Ian so it is 21SS.

If I have the last name of the signature, I am hoping to come across it, since that division never reached full size.

I have enough clues to put the soldbuch owner in training unit in Croatia , then a naval signals company in Greece.

Then a few signatures by this same unterscharfuhrer, including a note about losing his kit due to enemy action.

If anyone can identify this signature, I would really appreciate it.

That will be hard ...he is a SS Unterscharführer (Corporal/Lance Sergeant)...if he was an officer it would have been easier. Also, he probably is a Rechnungsführer or paymaster.
