Wehrpass guide/books

I have just taken the plunge into German documents, and was wondering if there is a published guide to wehrpass (e.g. Page 1 is bio, page x is y etc)? Or examples of common entries on certain pages etc.

Moderator Antonio Scapini wrote book about wehrpass and solbuch, in early time Emilie Caldwell Stewart wrote book about these documents, and some website can be found about this theme.

Is the book by Nigel Alison / Ulric of England worth purchasing? It seems good value at £25, but then I see that postage is charged at £10!
