The entries are several years old. This biography was obtained from the family of the soldbuch owner. The image is a copy of my photos.
I was very surprised when I saw all this data yesterday. Very interested for me is the fact that Josef Glinz was involved in the fighting around Vossenack. A small town in the Hürtgenwald.

Jeff
An extra entry squeezed in once perhaps but normally with the seal.
Two squeezed in months apart without the seal?
What a shame if it has been enhanced, the last proper entry looks like the KVK.
I have to agree with Jeff that it needs some thought.
Perhaps there is some other supporting paperwork else where or a picture of the bloke with awards in wear?
I have been crusified before for suggesting that sometimes the old boys themselves entered them post war when they knew they had received the award but they tend to only have the award and date not the awarding officer etc?

If it were one then sure but both?
Maybe someone can confirm the signatures signing them off?
I don't doubt that this is not the first soldbuch you have had since selling them is your job.
If I were buying it it would be as a bloke that got the KVK as his last official award.
I have learned that even the inclusion of lesser awards can increase value significantly so EK2 yes but EK1 as well and both without seal?!
It is still nice as what it is.
I am also in Germany and I have learned of some very tallented individuals that are catering to this market of upgrading.

v.iv.,
and Jock, Jock thank you for your thoughts.
Theo Hessenmüller, Bordfunker of Hauptmann Eduard Schröder NJG.3, did only hear that the German Cross in Gold was awarded to him in 1945 when he asked for information about his war time service when he made a request for his pension, many - many years later.
He didn't write that award down in his booklets later himself, although I do know of several veterans who did that.
"Beancounters"...... hummmm, I do know that the fakers who want to make extra money with some extra and higher awards in Soldbücher and Wehrpäße will be very happy with your naive blindness and deafmutism.
EK.2 and EK.1 are in your opinion unimportant details !, don't make me laugh.
For a dealer as you are yourself these awards are the ones that do make the money for you when it comes to selling such Soldbücher and Wehrpäße.
Cleary a don't trust the dealer, but use your own sense, thoughts and your own opinions problem here with that 116.Pz.Div. Windhund Soldbuch you are showing us.
Better to be a "Bean Counter" than a dealer who sells material with issues.
Best regards

This is done this is not a question, but never by me.
This book did not come from a collector. The Soldbuch at no time was in a collection. A few days ago it came directly from the family of the Vet.
This is fact. And you can not disprove it. If you do it you say I am a liar. So what?

There is a correct way to enter an award if they do not have a stamp (chaos or no chaos) and this does not have the awards in question, entered correctly.
Only option is to request at the WAST otherwise the family find other documents.
As long as that is not provable, I bought a questionable soldbuch.
A garbage book. Possibly faked. But the fact that it is a soldbuch 116 Pz is totally unimportant. I understand !!

But one still, faker works different. They would try to stamp the entries. Even if the stamp does not match the unit. This is to my knowledge most of the case..

I do know myself how it is to explain oneself in another language.
Do know that there are enough fakers who put new entries in booklets without using a stamper at all.

They may have some post war paper that backs it up that they think is not important? Maybe he served in the Bundeswehr etc...
