    Soldbuch, Wehrpass with 8 awards

    Soldbuch, Wehrpass, WH – Fahrlehrerschein, Kriegsbeschädigtenausweis and other docuemtns for Oberschirmeister Günter Delloch of Panzer Jäger Abteilung 49 (28. Schlesische Jäger Division).

    Delloch was born in Löwen, Schlesien on 6. Oktober 1919 and spent his entire miliary career, from the first day of the war until his medical discharge on 3.5 1945 with the 28. Schlesische Jäger Division.

      Delloch took part in all the major battles of the 28. Jäger Division in the west and east, most notably the battles on the Crimea culminating in the capture of Sevastpol, After being wounded he was posted to the Kommandatur Kompanie of the Oberbefehlshaber der Ersatzheeres in Potsdam.

          Sudetenmedaille on 22.8.39

          Kriegsverdientskreuz 2. Klasse mit Schwerten on 27. 7. 1941

          Krimschild on 30.1.1943

          Kraftfahrbewährungsabzeichen in Bronze on 29.11.1943

          Kriegsverdientskreuz 1. Klasse mit Schwerten on 15.11.1943

          Verwundetenabzeichen in Schwarz on 1.4.1944

          Eisernes Kreuz 2. Klasse on 6.3.1944

          And finally the Verwundetenabzeichen in Silber on 16.12.1944.

            Delloch was so seriously wounded that he was classed „Schwerkriegsbeschädigt“ (3.Klasse) and issued this ID. Delloch was also an army driving inspector and could drive all vehicles up to 10 tons and expressed noted here is the “Gleisketten Lkw” (halftracked truck) Maultier.
            Delloch suffered from fracture to his skull, defects of his bones (Knochendefekt) and partial paralysis.
