Stug Abt. 201 Wehrpass

I bought this wehrpass a while a go but didn't got the time to post it.

This early bird started his military career in 1934 with Artillerie Regiment 1 and ended in 1945 with Sturmgeschutz Brigade 201.

Fought in 1939 in Poland.
In 1940 he was part of Artillerie Regiment 255. During the Western campaign this Regiment crossed the Dutch - German border at Venlo and fought it's way through Belgium. (Dendermonde, Audenaarde, Thielt)

In 1941 he took part in Operation Barbarossa.
(Minsk, Bialystock, Jelnja, Smolensk, Beresina, defence battles at Moskau)
In 1944 his unit was attched to Stug Brigade 261.

It came with his driverslince with a nice Stugwrapper photo in it

Minor part: the pencil writings has been overwritten.
This wehrpass came from a german picker and hasn't been in collectors hands before.

The signature on the back of the Führerschein is that of Major Bergmann who commanded StuG Ers.Abt 400 from 1st December 1942 to 1st February 1944.

What could be the reason why he erased his learnd profession (page 3) ? Later he was a car driver.
