    Soldbuch Dienstuhr Entries

    Hello All,
Would be great to see some images of any service watch entries, here is one dated from 1944. Always a bonus when the watch make is included, in this case an Arsa D 27487 H. This Swiss made watch being one of the best, manufactured by Auguste Reymond.
    Best Wishes, GB.

I remember that same years ago we saw here in this Forum some other WPs with entries dealing with watches. I do not remember when it was but may be other members do.

Hi All. Intersting Thread indeed, a good Idea to make it alive. Here is my contribution "1 Fliegerarmbanduhr Werk Nr.585084 gegen Bezahlung". Soldbuch is a Pilot from 1.(F.) Nacht-Aufkl.Staffel

Here is my contribution. Interesting is that he first received a Dienstuhr Arsa 'Taschenuhr' and later a Dienstuhr gluzim(?) 'armbanduhr'.

As a collector of high end wrist watches I appreciate and enjoy seeing watch entries in Soldbücher and always keep my eye out for them. Has anyone seen - or does anyone own - any Luftwaffe flight crew IDs with either Tutima or Hanhart wrist watch entries? If so please do share them here

                Best,
                Rob

                      Nice one Oliver.

Here's a timepiece entry to a NCO who was a platoon leader in 3./Gren.Rgt.957 and fought against the 506 PIR (101st Airborne Division) at Opheusden in October 1944 for which he was awarded the Iron Cross 1st class.

As you can see he was issued a Recta wrist watch on 24.Sept. 1943. Sadly I cannot determine from the entry exactly which model he received.

Recta, which was founded in 1897, manufactured different types of timepieces for the German military and is still in business today producing compasses: http://www.recta.ch/en/about-us

                      Here's a nice wartime produced Recta: http://watchinprogress.com/recta-ger...watch-service/

                      Best,
                      Rob
