a) Regarding the first unit ( 3./Marsch.Btl. Fla 5) :
I assume, that this was the 3rd company of a battalion, sending replacements to the frontline units (Marsch-Bataillon),
consisting of personnel trained for infantry-Fla-units.
b) You can find a list of the different Fla-Ers.Btls. he served in, here :

( It would be interesting to know what rank he had, as it seems he made several of those trips,
accompanying replacement transports.)
c) It is unclear, to which unit 1./Fla-Btl 615 belonged to during Oct.-Dec. 1943.
(Kav.Rgt. Mitte or schw. Ski-Btl. 1 (1. Skijäger-Brigade) ?!)
d) At the very end, he became incorporated into "3. Schwadron/ schwere Kavallerie-Abteilung 3" of the 3. Kavallerie Brigade :
