It's a leave pass. Sorry, I can't help with the signature.

Here the right part of the handwritten German text:

"Damit Du siehst daƟ ich nicht ausgegangen war, denn mich interessieren andere Leute die ich da treffe nicht. Hermann"

That you can see that I did not go out because I am not interested to meet other people whom I meet there. Hermann.

The hand written left part: " so mĆ¼ĆŸte es heiƟen. Ich wƤre dann der glĆ¼cklichste Mensch"

so it should read. I would be the happiest person.

My take on this document is that SS-Candidate Hermann Wunderlich took an old one-day pass and marked it up to send to a friend/girlfriend/family member who lives in Selb on the German-Czech border -- and F-A-R from Munich. I did a similar thing when I was in the service AFTER I took my official leave -- I marked up my desired dates as a "wish" and sent it to my girlfriend (with no intention of forging an official document).

So, that is my thought: Herman says, I'd be the happiest person if I could be allowed to go to Selb on the new dates .... then sent it as part of a letter to a friend. Definitely not to anyone above him in the chain-of-command since he signed with his given name, not rank/family name.

I cannot make out the commander's signature, but it looks like it could be Schwarz in Suetterlinschrift. I can see the "S" and "h", and what looks like a "z", "y", or "g" (something with a depender) on the end. I do not see the "c" between the "S" and "h" .... but sometimes with "sch", the "c" is just a tiny down-stroke.

Does anyone else think this could be Schwarz?

And looking at the penned-in dates, the song comes to mind:
"I'll be home for Christmas .... if only in my dreams"

My drill sergeant used to say that to us around Christmas! "You'll all be home by Christmas!" (we cheer!) "Only in your DREAMS!" (we cry!)

Actually, it's odd (to me) that a document would be crossed out as far as the times/dates, and new ones added. Likewise, personal notes like this wouldn't seem to be "right" on an official travel/leave document.

The back of the paper has the various rules and guidelines for use of the military travel pass.

                        sig

The signature is in typical scribble not actually spelling out the exact letters in the name. It looks like the first letter is "S" but after that it's indecipherable and only a guess.
