    LS dienstbuchs,what areas do you have?

    Hello,
    I would like to know,if possible which areas your LS dienstbuchs are from.

    The 2 I have in my collection are from Hamburg.
    Every one I see at a show is from Hamburg,why is this?

    The only exception to this is one that i've seen recently,which was from Wilhelmshaven.

    Are there other areas out there,is there a particular reason why all the ones I see come from Hamburg?

    I know Hamburg was heavily bombed and is quite a big city,is this the reason?

    I have seen others from different locations in Germany....the reason why there are so many Hamburg ones I would imagine is because a hoard of Polizei and Luftschutz papers were found some years ago....most of these were for those that served in Hamburg.

    I only have one LS Dienstbuch to a woman, with a photo! and yes she served in Hamburg.....she was not born there however!

        It happens, that I have one from Lubeck, with HJ uniform pass photo

          I have one for a female that came with her husbands Wehrpass and other papers. He was KIA and she joined soon after in Lemburg.
