I have this small piece of LAH history.

An original field unit members disc not the Ersatz formation and the roll number is low enough. These discs are very rare probably less than 250 existed since anyone who joined the unit after this would have already have had an Ersatz unit disc.

This is a 1st Company LAH !

They possibly tore their discs into four pieces and scattered them when captured as a group, as 'quarter' discs like this have been found in clusters in certain locations on the Eastern front
