I could use some help on this injury entry. Was it a wound, or an illness?
He qualified for the Versehrtenstufe II.

His unit is also a difficult one: the 5. Heimat-Feldzugbatll. Heeres Zeugamt Wien.
What would be the function of this unit?

U 49 was heart problems, your man was DU after the illness. First word looks like it starts myocard???

Tim, both units are related to doing ordnance work. The later unit was at the Army Ordnance Office Vienna.

Thank you both! The first word would be Myocardschaden then, which is indeed a heart disease.
