FP Nr. 11640 belonged to Hafenkommandant Nantes.
If this is the only unit he belonged to and there are no awards, I would say it is worth less than $100.

the seller says he will look for it as the web sight is old, I am looking for a kreigsmarine sold buch entry leavel. but would like a nice photo like the one I was looking at, with cap and tally ect, does any one know where I might find one? thanksComment

I have seen some interesting ones on http://www.militariaweb.com/ recently.....not sure if they are still there though!
Have you checked the main line dealers like Niemann, Hüsken, Weitz, Winkler etc.?
If not then click on my profile......go to my webpage and take a look at the links....one of those dealers might have something.....

The seller of this book says that the photo has been changed but it has the stamps marying it into the book, he also said that it was common for a person to change the photo. is this true or bull? another question I hope you soldbuch guys can help me with is the buch is stamped with his name on the top of the cover, muller, is that common or done at all? and how can you tell if the photo was married in piriod or some kind of fake? the photos stamps could be different than the ones in the inside cover, but it is hard to tell, the staples are old staples but can not tell if they have been bent and closed again, any tell tale signs to look for?
