Awarded on: January 18th, 1945

Zoll served of August 2nd, 1939 - December 1st, 1940: 14.(Panzerabwehr) / Infanterie-Regiment 61 / 7. Infanterie-Division;
September 1939 active in poland after which the unit was transferred to the west where it took may-june 1940 part in the campaign against belgium and france(lille) and was based in northern france to april 1941 when the division was transferred to poland

June 1941 preparing the campaing against russia (smolensk,moscow)

December 1941 he was transferred to the tank destroyed compagny of inf.rgt.437 of the 132 inf.division,also operating in russia(crimea,sebastopol,leningrad,polozk)

Aug-october 1944 the div.was active in latvia and finally in november 1944-april 1945 in Courland

In may 1942 he was injured and was repatriated foe recovery and november 1943 je rejoined his unit

I think a replacement soldbuch was then issued to him which is the reason that not passphoto was attached,his promotion to hauptmann and Co.of 14(pz-jag) Gren.Rgt.437 and the award of the knights cross were not entered

The very rare award of both the iron cross 2nd cl and 1 st cl .on the same day

i have 2-3 examples for the soldiers who got the EKII and EKI in the same day.
What i feel rare is that the soldiers in the lower rank (EM) get their high awards RK or DK.
