today I saw an Polizei Dienstausweis from a member of SS-Polizeiregiment "Cholm". Can anybody give me informations about this Regiment?

That is what Reserve-Polizei-Bataillon 65, which fought in Cholm, eventually evolved into.

I saw it yesterday - a friend of mine has it.

There is also an entrie about "Bandenbekaempfung"

The owner was KIA in 1944.

Hi Joerg, Police Battalion 65 has quite a notorious reputation, that may be why they mention "Bandenbekaempfung". In January 1942 they were part of battlegroup "Scheerer" and that's where they received there Cholm Schild. Aside from that a lot of their time was with anti partisan action and they were involved in Aktion Reinhard. They played a part in eliminating the Jews from Cracow and escorting them to Auschwitz.
