            Very nice Daniele,

Is that a civilian photo in the Soldbuch?

I have an in depth book upstairs of units on the Channel Islands and will take a look later if I can find exactly where his company was stationed.

So you are collecting Channel Island items now?

            /Ian

                        Werner returns to the island

I just thought i would let you know that Werners solbuch has luckily for me found its way back to Jersey where her was once a member of the Occupying forces. I am much obliged to those who give me the heads up on any Channel Island soldbuch, wehrpass and photo albums that occasionally appear. My museum archive is now home to quite a number of Channel Island books. If any of you out there have any items which you think may be of interest then please email me at damienhorn1@gmail.com
                        Keep up the good work.
                        Damien.
