    Hi,

    Could anyone please give me info on these two units as I am unable to find anything on lexikon-der-wehrmacht:

    Formed 26.8.1939 in Bielefe1d, Wehrkreis VI; 3.11.1939 transferred to Danzig and 20.8.1940 back to Bielefeld; 1.10.1942 divided into Ersatz- und Ausbildungs Bataillon; Renamed GrenadierErsatz Bataillon 18 Bielefeld on 7.11.1942. December 1943 transferred to Paderborn; September 1944 a Walküre call unit also received the designation Reserve Grenadier Bataillon 18; October 1944 part of 89 Infanterie Division.

    This is an Army Discharge Office numbered 2 in Military District VI (H.Q. in Münster)

      Also, 'The Replacement Army' reports, as one might expect, that this unit supplied replacements to Infanterie/Grenadier Regiment 18.
