Very nice Group. I like the Congratulation Document from Heeresgruppe Nordukraine. I own a DK Group from the 23.Pz.Div. too, proposed for the Rk which was refused and get the Ehrenblattspange.... I really like the campaign inserts that appear in his Soldbuch. Remarkable how some of these guys managed to survive the entire war.

Isn't it really strange how the post war picture features a Denazified cap eagle but his honour roll clasp is still there in all its glory

Yes, not only the cap eagle, no breast eagle, but DKiG, Ehrenblattspange and all the other medals with svasticas........
