Actually, yes- he sent me an email saying that if I removed my posting of the auction link, he'd remove his cute comments about me- but that if I didn't, he'd get me banned from the Forum, etc., etc. I have no interest in battling with anyone over this- I have my opinion, he has his, and I'd have much rathered him to contradict me and present evidence, but he chose another route. Still, since he was willing to take back what he did, I figured I should do the same. My first thread goes on- it's still quite valid- but this one was just to show his response to my challenge was, and now that it's no more, there's no need to show it.Comment

That is the link to the auction. Obviously this guy doesn't want public exposure or something, since he contacted Matt.
For the record, the seller Heydrich on Epier is selling many, what are in my OPINION, bad fakes. Why all the fuss if they are real? Why not defend yourself with some sort of rational argument? I think his actions speak for himself, as in very childish. For future reference, his e-mail address is also keithloc@hotmail.com, so I would avoid buying from any sellers with the same e-mail address.Comment

Well Keith, it would seem you keep up on these forums - while maybe not being able to post.
Matt is a good guy and probably the wrong sort of person you should have "gone" after. He isn't out to get anyone, even those who sell fakes or rip people off - he just isn't like that.
I, however, despise people like you who knowingly peddle fakes - even worse: when under scrutiny you still won't admit to selling these.
So, while Matt was kind of enough to come to some sort of understanding with you (which was very nice on his part by the way, because your threats are as empty as a threat can get - don't fool yourself into thinking anyone here is intimidated by your child-like threats), I'm not.
So, Keith Loughmiller, let it be known publically that you are part of the reason this hobby gets degraded. I have no respect for you and I hope others will read this and treat you the same. If you want to send me threatening e-mails, or post obscenities about me on an epier auction, feel free to waste your time. I'll just laugh in your childish face from the comfort of my living room.

I'm sorry for the thread that someone had started entitled "This Forum and Everyone here sucks".

That wasn't started by me, but rather a guy named Keith Loughmiller.
I am a member of the Wehrmacht-Awards forums, but I have nothing against these forums at all, in fact I have never been to them before someone had pointed out that thread, which included my name.
The reason Keith is so upset is because he has been caught knowingly peddling fake militaria items and this point was made public on the WA forums. His childish ways of trying to "get back at me" are pretty weak, but I still feel it necessary to clear my name and not implicate the WA forums as being a bad place at all. I am, what I would like to think, a well respected member there. Feel free to look up my name and read the history of my posts there - you won't find anything even slightly reminiscent of the post previous mentioned here, done under my name.

All this started because something silly was written about me in the description of one of those ePier auctions- a retaliation for my describing them here as fakes. No one ever contradicted my opinion and it most certainly wasn't a personal attack on the seller, and yet all this is coming out of it. This is supposed to be a HOBBY! FUN people! (intended for the "guests" reading).

A bad piece is a bad piece..If one of us can say why in our opinion it is bad we should make the call to the best of our ability..Can we make a mistake? yes of course, we all have
..If a seller / owner does not agree they should come on and make their points about the piece being original. That is what the forum is for..Happy hunting guys, don't let the bull**** get you down , G.
