Note the dates; After the French Campaign until almost February 1943 he served in France guarding the Atlantic and Mediterranean coast line.

That makes the award date of the EK II impossible. Hence, the EK I entry is fake as well and probably the rest too.

Thanks for your help, Naxos. I understood that the seller bought it right from the soldiers family. And I believe him as he is a thrustworthy member of the German MFF for many years. But someone must have made up the Wehrpass.
I hope he will pipe up at this thread tomorrow to tell us a little bit more about the circumstances when he bought it.

I've just received an email from the seller. He would like to respond to the thread and show additional pictures. Therefore he has registered at the WAF today but can't write any postings. What went wrong? Does he have to pay the annual fee for writing something? I always thought that is just for showing pictures.

Sorry for my late answer, my account works since few hours…

At first I will say Hello to all member in the WAF, this is my first active time here.
Now, I’m the owner of the SS-TK group and I hope I can help answer some questions about it.

Page 32 service period is dated from 9.1.40 until ?.6.41
Page 33 blank white sheet (glued on page 33, among them handwritten text…), the sheet you see in the picture from “Oberbootsmann” isn’t fixed! This extra sheet, I put it only for scanning on page 33 in the WP!
So, you are right there is a gap between 6.41 until 24.10.42 on the extra sheet of service or in the WP.

But look at Page 12, in 41/42 the SS-TK IR2 moved into Kradschützen-Bataillon SS-Totenkopf and it compares with Page 23 Eastern Medal. The Kradsch. Btl SS-TK definitely fight in Russia winter 41/42! So I think the Eastern Medal make sense!
In 24.10.42 the owner of the WP moved into SS-T. Krdschtz.Rgt “Thule”. I think this is correct with nonfixed sheet that notice the service time from 24.10.42 until 25.5.43 in France

Demjansk-Shield: this shield is with black textile (badge) and really seldom, and black textile also make only sense in this group (maybe Oberbootsmann could post a picture)

Finally, yes its right! There is a time-gap in the WP of the TK-soldier and I don’t know if it lost o if it never been there. I think the entries are all right and nothing made up in this document. I received it by contact to the former family of the TK-Man over an antique dealer (I know him a lot of years and he is absolutely serious).
Now, I hope there are not so many unanswered questions at all…sorry for my English
