Here we have a young man who want to serve his country and who volunteer in 1.936.

He was only 19 years ols and, as normal, single, but he put this to an end on May 6th, 1.944.

He served all time with Artillerie Regiment 73 till he was heavily wounded.

Here we can see his promotions, lat one the same day he was medically discharged, and his awards.

He was wounded and this put end to his wartime.........

He lost the lower part of his right leg.

He was a good shooter and a good swimmerso here are her rewards, plu he also received the SA Sportabzeichen in bronce, unafortunately citation lost.

Now his first real award, the Allgemeines Sturmbazeichen. And the award of his bravery, the Eisernes Kreuz.

Unafortunately both are provisional ones..........

The final award, the driver's badge in bronze, I think retroactive one as it will be higly improbable that he coul drive without his lower leg.....

The Wound Badge in Silver is missing from the group.

Another nice group from my favorite Panzer Division.

Now to heal a little from this disease I need to find two pieces I am looking for the 1 Panzer Division, the ivisional emblem y the sheet that anounces the award to the soldiers, for the first I haven't, but I have one from the second, but it is part of a group and I want one that goes alone.

Ian, I was bited by the terrific 1 Panzer Division disease and I have no cure but to adquire more and more pieces and research them.
