Just saw this on a dog tag: "G.A.S. Werl.". What does it stand for? Gebirgs Atrillerie Schule? Just a wild guess - anyone who knows?

As far as I know in Werl was only an airfield with nightfighters and other air force units.

The tag is said to be found from a former LW air field in Lappland. Apparently some air field guy was transferred there from Werl? But the G.A.S. still remains a mystery.
