I have a Soldbuch award entry which I cannot decipher. A picture is worth a thousand words, but with no scanner currently available I can only describe it in the hopes someone can help.
At the bottom of the awards page is the entry in question;
It looks like...B.K., the date is 7.7.44.....and then on the opposite side of the page the authorizing officer's signature and his position which one would normally see.
The Soldbuch belonged to a Leutnant who served in the Nachricthen Abt. of Jäger Division 114. He served throughout the divisions exsistance 1943-45. This would have included the anti-partisan operations conducted by the division while in Yugoslavia of which he received several Croation awards.
My question is...could the award in question be for the Bandenkampfabzeichen? Will also add that the entry is distinctly seperate as are all the others on the page, and does not look at all anything like the additional administrative remarks sometimes found tipped in at the bottom of award pages.
The Soldbuch has been in my collection for about 25 years.
