This is a nice grouping that I would love to be able to keep but that I think I am going to sell, I wanted to post it here first. Oberleutnant Karl Gieler served with a number of Flak units before being assigned to Fallschirm-Flak-Regiment 12 (mot). He did recieve FJ jump pants and a jump smock. He was wounded by burns and awarded the Black Wound Badge, he was also issued the Iron Cross 2nd Class, both in 1945, and the documents for both awards are tucked in the Soldbuch, along with Gieler's military drivers license. The book has seen a lot of use and the front cover is loose but it is complete. I am open to any feedback on this grouping and would be particularly interested in hearing thoughts on the value.

Award document for the EKII signed by Heilmann, Generalmajor u. Div. Kdr. The Feldpost number is for the Stab 5. Fallschirmjaeger-Division. This is Generalmajor Sebastian-Ludwig Heilmann, a veteran of Kreta and Monte Cassino, awarded the Knights Cross in 1941, and the Oak Leaves and the Swords in 1944. I am wondering how much value such a signature adds to a grouping like this? Heilmann died in 1959.Attached Files
