    an interessant question

My dear friends in an italian forum started a topic where persons tell waht documents a german soldier take in license :
"Normally the soldier at the department left soldbuch and travelled wehrpass together with the license to the sheet, I think I've seen, these sheets were stamped out of control and border."
But no one have or know the original settlement.
    You can help us ?

The Soldbuch was to be with the soldier at all times by regulation, and that includes leaves. After entering the military, the Wehrpass was kept by the unit and the soldier never touch it until he was discharged and then he turned in his Soldbuch for the Wehrpass. When on leave or traveling for duty purposes, the soldier also had to have the correct papers, eg. Sonderausweis D, Kriegsurlaubschein, Marschbefehl and/or Wehrmachtfahrschein.
