Personal search from Rendsburg

Dears friends, maybe you can help me. In WWII I have a grand uncle who goes to war and never come back. He was born in Rendsburg, city of my grand grand parents. I don't remember his name, only the familly name: Kruse. He was married with Lotti ( I think from Liselotti ).His father was Johannes August Friedrich Kruse,born at 19 February 1869 in Rendsburg and died at 6 July 1941. His mother was Mary Kruse (maid name Holler) born at 24 March 1877 and died at 10 January 1968 also in Rendsburg.

based on that information you should be able to write to the Standesamt, or Einwohnermeldeamt of Rendsburg (http://www.rendsburg.de/)

tell them what you are trying to do and the names and dates of your relatives. You could then take that information (relatives name AND birthdate) and go to the Deutsche Dienststelle (http://www.dd-wast.de/) in Berlin for a list of units this relative served with by filling out a Suchantrag.
