      The red writing on page 12 sais that he lost some of his stuff due to enemy action.

      Surprisingly he lost 1 hat, 1 set of underwear, 1 pair of socks etc. and if I read correctly also 84 pieces of amo. This looks like he lost those items
      which he was actually wearing at the time?!

          He would appear to have served with FP Nr. 10574 N (Kommandant der Seeverteidigung Südholland und Marine-Nachrichten-Offizier Vlissingen) for most of 1944.
          It depends which element he came under however both were based in Vlissingen, Walcheren . I do believe the N indicates Nachrichten when no other breakdown of the Feldpost number is used but I can not find my notes on those at the moment.

          November he is with MN Kp. 618, however 3.11.1944 there is a kit issue against FP Nr. 12879 - Hafenkommandant Rotterdam which is only 80 miles north-east of Vlissingen.

          So to your question......yes.
