                  Very nice and original Soldbuch. Photo is great ! Have a look on mine from the same kp. ! This SS-Hauptsturmführer was leading a St. Kp. of the SS-Gren. Ers. Btl 31 before to take the 4./SS-Pz. Gren. Ausb. Btl. 18. Very lucky companie, because most of this Btl. was taken POW at end of august 1944 in Thiers (France). The 4. Kp. was in Randan and can escape the massif rush of frencf resistance in this area.
                  For dog tag collector, it can be nice to observe that SS-Pz. Gren. Ausb. Btl. 18 start to deliver tag very late. In my Soldbuch (open in March 1944) the tag is from SS-Gren. Ers. Btl. "Ost".

                    Interesting Soldbuch. My Soldbuch from 4/SS PzGren. Ausb. Btl 18 is for a Unterscharführer and you can see the Hauptsturmführer made it out of France (he signed the security check on 1.9.44) and to Hamburg-Langenhorn where the 18th was transfered.
