Polizei Panzer grouping

These are some documents from the grouping of Adolf Vorberg.

He did his military service in 1934-1935 -issued Wehrpass-. In 1937 he joins the Polizei -issued Dienstausweiss 1057 and Polizei-Dienstpass-. After serving in several units he gets posted to the ´Kraftfahr- und Panzerschule der Ordnungspolizei´ in Vienna. He obtains a Polizei-Führerschein and a Bescheinigung driver´s licence for armoured vehicles non-fulltrack.

Vorberg then sees action in several anti-Partisan offensives, including two Panzer attacks earning himself the PKA in silver.





It is not my area of collecting so I cannot say much more about the unit or the operations he was involved in. However I thought it worthwhile to post for the Panzer buffs as it cannot be a common unit.

Their is no award date for the Tank Battle Badge?

Is the Police armored unit he was assigned to in the field listed in the Soldbuch?

A date for the award is not present.

The last unit given is the Panzer Ersatz unit.

Could you show some more pictures of the Dienstpass?
Pages 4/5 6/7 8/9 28/29 should be the most interesting.
If the Panzerkampfabzeichen is listed on pages 28/29 it should be possible to roughly determine the award date.
