Renamed 11.12.1941 Stab II u. 6.-10. Kompanie Jäger-Regiment 83.

Thanks for the info,
I found this number in soldbuch im just about to send back.You would not believe the levels of deception people have gone to to make it saleable.
This thing is without a doubt one of the worst pieces of butchery i have ever seen.
I really dont know how people expect to get away with things sometimes.

For instance,i knew it was missing a few pages,but someone has actually glued in to make the book look better,pages from another guys book.
We know the term parts dagger,well,this is a parts soldbuch.

simply hideous.

I have seen this done before when 2 or 3 Soldbücher have been butchered to make a "sellable" piece!
It is a shame as all these items are unique and interesting....
The same can be said for Soldbuch photos.......for someone killed pre mid 1943 do not expect to see a photo......however to my knowledge so far I have found orders inserting them around October 1943...nothing earlier, but with that said I have seen a DAK Soldbuch with photo!!!!
