Unbelivable! Chinese in Litzmannstadt Ghetto

I found these docs long time ago...
The files from Social Security office in Łódź ( Litzmannstadt) have been used to produce notepads shortly after the war ( due to shortage of the paper) as they were just one-side printer. My grandfather used to make notes on the clean side in late 40-ties/50-ties. He was a professor of history, and after he died I went through his huge library and documentation and found this.
Among many other files to Poles, Germans, VD I found some files of Chinesse people apparently kept in Łódź Ghetto.
Any comments?

Erich, well now that is very interesting. It must have struck the pre-war Bavarians in the 98 GJR as the oddest thing to see someone who was Chinese and wearing an officers uniform giving orders in German. From the article it would appear that he spoke German well enough that he passed his schools and was given a small unit command.

Germany has always had a lot of foreign officers and soldiers visiting its military universities. This would certainly be a good topic for someone to research.

It seems that these two Chinese men had been civil employees of the City of Litzmannstadt because the documents are given by the "Oberbürgermeister" of Litzmannstadt.

Their job was under the "Ernährungs- und Wirtschaftsamt" (Food Office and Economic Affairs, department "Ghetto") of the City of Litzmannstadt one as "Transportarbeiter" (transport worker) and the other as "Lagerarbeiter" (storekeeper).

Both got a payment "Lohngruppe C" (pay grade C).
