panzer ss officier soldbuch opinions...

Hello
I have this very rare soldbuch. The soldier was in the SS.Panzer.Abteilung.4
First in the sturmgeschutz, and after in panther tank.
The picture is beautifull, panzer ss black jacket and panzer ss M43 cap !!
He has 3 decorations:
- EK2
- Verwundeten-Abzeichen in schwartz
- Panzerkampf-Abzeichen in silber
He was lieutnant !!

Can you please post larger images of all the pages with entries? On what date was the SB issued, and are there any other accompanying documents? It's difficult to be certain from the one small scan you've posted, but IMHO it looks like it could have potential..... and if original is IMHO worth a few thousand dollars.

I'm not usually a fan of late war soldbucher, especially late war zweitschrift ones but that is one I'd make an exception for. Nice find

It´s a matter of opinion.
I love late war SS-Soldbuchs (including Zweitschrift/duplicates), but only with a nice uniform portrait photo like this

Yes Eric I agree. People often (probably quite rightly) get derided in the forum for posting items with the obvious intention of getting a price and\or generating interest in something they want to sell.

But here we have someone posting something very interesting (without saying anything about selling it or potential price) and there's people falling over themselves offering to buy it. As bad as the first one IMHO - at least bid by PM!
